1. Visit a pumpkin patch.
Nothing will get you feeling in the fall mood more than a cute pumpkin patch.
2. Find a Halloween costume.
I’m thinking I will be a pineapple this year ;D
3. Decorate or carve a pumpkin.
There are so many cute DIY ideas on Pinterest, like spray painting a chevron pattern or dipping them in mod podge and glitter!
4. Send a Halloween card to a friend.
This might seem like a random idea, but it’s another occasion to let someone know you’re thinking about them. Who doesn’t love getting snail mail?
5. Drink a pumpkin spice latte.
If you haven’t tried one, you need to. If you haven’t indulged yet this season, you need to!
6. Watch Hocus Pocus (or a scary movie).
“Hocus Pocus” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” are my favorites! I love that they are on major repeat this year on ABC Family.
7. Go on a hay-ride.
Hayrides were a tradition in my family when I was growing up. Every fall we would invite friends over and we would all pile into a trailer filled with hay that my dad pulled around with his backhoe. I miss those days!
8. Have a bonfire & s’mores.
My childhood hayrides were always followed by bonfires, of course. There’s nothing more cozy than being bundled up around the fire at night.
9. Bake something pumpkin-y.
If you walk into any Target or Trader Joes now, you will see at least one aisle dedicated to pumpkin goodness. I picked up a box of pumpkin pancake mix to surprise the hubby with breakfast in bed.
10. Go hiking and enjoy the foliage.
Hiking is something I don’t get to do often, but it’s on my bucket list this year. The weather could not be better for getting outdoors and getting active.
What’s on your fall bucket list?
