Several weeks ago, Luke and I took a trip to Asheville to celebrate my birthday. We decided to splurge a little bit and stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn. We had a fabulous time and wanted to share our experience.
The Grove Park Inn is an old, charming place that is full of character, inside and out. Our room was in the original part of the hotel. It had been updated some (like they added a bathroom…guests used to share back in the day, wow) but they still kept some of that original character.
We had fun relaxing and enjoying the restaurants onsite. We ate at Vue 1913 the first night and the food was amazing. We watched the sun set over the mountains and it was truly beautiful. We tried to go to Sunset Terrace at sunset, but of course it was all booked up. We ended up eating lunch at the Terrace on our last day and the view was still to die for. The food could have been better, but the view made it all worth it.
At night, we splurged on room service, yum! I told Luke for my birthday I just wanted to watch Stranger Things and eat chocolate cake, so that’s what we did 🙂
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. There are so many trails right outside the hotel that we did not even have time to explore. We had fun snapping some photos by the waterfalls before we had to leave.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s perfect for a special occasion and I’ve heard that it’s beautiful at Christmastime, too. Even if you don’t stay overnight, you have to go by and explore the hotel and eat a delicious meal there if you’re in the Asheville area.
Awe it looks like you had SUCH an amazing time! That sweater with the bell sleeves is so cute and cozy. You have such great taste Brianne, I absolutely adore your travel style <3
