It’s that time of year! What some say is the best sale of the entire year. This was my first year shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. There was so much hype leading up to the sale that I kind of got tired of hearing about it before it even started and was not going to shop it at all. However, on the first day that the sale was open to the public (I didn’t want to open a credit card for early access), I happened to have some free time so I stopped by the store. It was madness in there! It definitely felt like Black Friday shopping where you are surrounded by people on all sides and women are grabbing bags and jewelry left and right. Some people hate shopping when it’s busy like this, but it adds to the excitement for me, so I didn’t mind. I went in the late afternoon and so I thought that all of the good items would have been bought already. To my surprise there were still some hot items left. There were plenty of designer handbags, boots, and jewelry. Basically eye candy everywhere you looked haha. The prices on the jewelry were too good to pass up. I picked out several neutral, gray pieces that will go with anything, so I figured it was worth the spontaneous purchase because I will get a lot of wear out of them.
I was tempted by this beautiful blush Tory Burch bag, but wasn’t totally in love with it for the price. I figured that it would be better if I saved up my money for a bag that I truly love.
I have one more item on the way in the mail so stay tuned… 😉
What did you think about the sale and what were you able to find? I’d love to hear it!
