I hope that your new year is off to a great start. We are traveling back home to Charlotte today after spending a week with family. We’ve been able to relax and slow down more than we have in months, which was so nice! This break has seemed like a month long because we’re used to having a mile long to-do list everyday, so this was a much needed change of pace. Now, it’s back to the grind, but we are refreshed and ready to grab 2017 by the horns 😉 Luke and I have been able to catch up and talk a lot about our goals for the year. We are on the same page and ready to tackle this year together. It is a great feeling and hopefully we can stay on track with our resolutions. You can read about those in this post.
Looking back on posts from 2016, basic tees were one of the most popular items. This white and black long-sleeve striped tee from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale was the most clicked on item in 2016…wow! I like to branch out and wear crazy patterns and lots of sparkle, but I’m glad that I know you guys love the basics too. I will definitely be keeping that in mind this year and trying to incorporate more basic, everyday outfits that you can re-create at home.
I found this tee on the sale rack for $11!! I knew that I would get a lot of wear out of it and it was really comfortable when I tried it on, so it was a must-have.
