If you missed Part One, you can find it here.
The next part of our journey took us to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. What can I even say about this…but wow. Words do not even do it justice. It was deeply moving and we spent hours going through the museum because it was so detailed.
I didn’t take very many pictures inside because it didn’t feel right. Honestly, it is better if you see it in person. If you ever get the chance, you definitely need to go.

You can read my deeper thoughts on it here.
One World Trade at night…it was a stunning building. Hopefully I’ll get to go the top one day!
Later that night we went to Dylan’s Candy Bar. Such a fun candy land!
I mean, there was so….much…candy….so much. I felt like we were in Willy Wonka’s wonderland. And it was awesome.
It was a sweet ending to the day!
The next morning we spent some time in Central Park. The weather was absolutely perfect and it was a gorgeous, relaxing time.
Bow Bridge! It was so picturesque. Just how it looks in the movies. (But add about 100 people that were standing on the bridge taking selfies with their selfie sticks…ha)
It was pretty crowded out on the water because it was a Saturday morning on a holiday weekend, but next time I would love to go row-boating! So romantic ; )
So long, Central Park!
I could’ve spent much more time there. It’s the perfect place to have a picnic and people-watch, hehe.
We needed to cool off a little after the park, so we headed to Shake Shack for some delicious shakes! Seriouly good and creamy milkshakes.
The flatiron building was right next to Shake Shack. Loved seeing this iconic landmark.
After exploring a lot during the day, we went to a friend’s wedding that night. It was such a fun wedding and it was the highlight of our trip! We got to catch up with friend’s we hadn’t seen in a long time.
To get to the wedding we had to take the train from Grand Central Terminal. It’s so beautiful in person and we had to take photos while we were dressed up, of course.
That’s all for now! I have one more post lined up with the rest of our adventures and they’re pretty good if I say so myself. Stay tuned, friends! Thanks for stopping by.
